Happy Halloween everyone! Halloween is all about great costumes and delicious treats. One of the treats I like to enjoy every year is a caramel apple, and today happens to be National Caramel Apple Day. So this is the perfect recipe to celebrate both holidays. Caramel apples are always amazing in the fall, and I have the perfect dip that will satisfy anybody’s apple cravings. My Chocolate Chip Caramel Apple Dip is so simple to make yet it looks so elegant it will impress your guests. This dip is the perfect indulgent snack for any occasion like a football party, entertaining some friends and family, or even for a midnight snack. Either way it is sure to be a crowd pleaser for everyone. It features a block of cream cheese smothered in delectable caramel sauce and topped with heavenly chocolate chips.
The ingredients you will need are apples, 1/4 cup of caramel flavored topping, 1 (8 oz.) block of cream cheese, and miniature chocolate chips.
Start by slicing your apples and dipping them in lemon juice to preserve their color.
Then get out the block of cream cheese and set it in the middle of a platter. Then pour the 1/4 cup of caramel sauce over the cream cheese.
